Arcane Soldiers are trained throughout the lands of Eldlandria, typically in exclusive schools dedicated to the best of magic and warfare. They are especially known for their ranged magical attacks. They have been forced to adapt in the last century to a greater use of weaponry and armour as new, empowerable items have become available.

General Concept: Long Range Attacker, Magic User

Commentary:

The Arcane Solider is great at long range combat, using either their spells or Spellchrome rifle. They are a good choice for players who enjoy managing Magic Points and casting spells. Because the Arcane Solider gains all of the spells in their 5 Spell Categories, they end up with some abilities that are useful in non-combat areas. This sample character does not have a strong skill set.

As this character increases in level, more Magic Magic Points will likely be useful. The player may want to improve the character's melee abilities as well, if that deficit becomes an issue. The Adair Long Range Rifle would offer even more offensive power, although it is an EP hog and is restricted in some locations. Finally, better armour may become of interest once the character can obtain something better.

* This character currently gains 8 Hit Points Per level (6+0+2), plus a one time bonus of +3 Hit Points from the Toughness Feat.

This character’s original Constitution score was 14; plus 1 was added from a skill bonus.

This character currently has 11 MP. Ancient Sign = 4, Social Class = +3 Charisma = +3, Increased Magic Points Feat = +1.

This character is a skilled runner, adding +5 feet to their base movement speed for a total of 35 feet (7 squares).
