Getting Started

arrow This is the online edition of the Spellchrome Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook. New players are encouraged to start with Chapter 1: Introduction, which deals with what a Pen and Paper RPG is and introduces the Spellchrome world.

Chapter 2: Character Creation presents all of the steps required in order to make your own unique Spellchrome character. Later chapters deal with Level Advancement, Skills, Magic Spells, Equipment and more, all easily found under the Table of Contents.

Charater Creation: 26 Strength at level one

Strength

A strength score of 18 means a character is quite strong, near the top of what a normal human can achieve. A strength of 26 is outlandishly strong, but it is achievable by a character starting at level one in the Spellchrome RPG, and the following guide will show you the steps required.

Calrwell, Lundor - A man is alleging abuse against the staff of the Calrwell Greystone facility. The man, who did not want his name used, is angry over the use of magic he did not agree to. “They can’t just go reading your mind,” he says. “I came in for help, and the next thing I know, they’re inside my head, seeing what I’m thinking. It’s just wrong.”

The crown says they’re investigating. “We take all complaints seriously,” says J. Orekill. “We will determine what, if any, wrong doing has occurred, and then take the appropriate actions.”

Character Focus: Heavy Class Warrior

H-Class Warrior The Heavy Class Warrior is one of the Sample Characters available in the Character Creation chapter. These men and women are soldiers who pride them selves on being big and tough. When they grab a weapon, it’s often the biggest one they can find. At first level, the sample character’s Starting Equipment selection includes a Heavy Spellchrome Pistol, and a huge Gravaton Hammer, which which is even deadlier in their hands, thanks to the Power Hit Feat.

Because the Heavy Class (or, H-Class as they’re sometimes called) need to be able to take hits and still stand up in a fight, they need lots of Hit Points. Either the Ancient Sign of Armoes or Burgon are suitable for this, as each offers 6 Hit Points per level. The sample H-Class Warrior is born under the Ancient Sign of Armoes, since a wider skill selection allows for Strength Training, at the cost of magical selection.

Equipment Focus: Spellchrome Pistols

Spellchrome Pistol The Spellchrome pistol is one of the most common weapons found on Eldlandria. A couple examples of Spellchrome Pistols include the Delfurh .9 and the Atlurg M Spellchrome Pistol, both found in the Equipment Chapter, under Ranged Weapons.

One major benefit of using a ranged Spellchrome weapon is that the user does not have to reload the weapon, or keep track of ammunition. As long as the weapon remains empowered, it may be fired whenever needed.

Monster Legend: The Pale Twin

Pale Twin The Legend of the Pale Twin dates back over 600 years, to the around the year 412 CE. It is believed that their appearance was less frequent before the barrier was damaged, that it took more energy and time to cross over in the past.

It is held that a pale twin begins as an unseen spirit terror. Legend goes that it seeks out an unhappy and angry individual and feeds on the negativity. Over time, the barrier spirit grows in power, learning every secret and dark thought its unhappy victim ever had.
